Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the digital literacy of elementary school students through a Technology Coaching approach focusing on videography and content creation at Al-Itqan School in Penang, Malaysia. The program was conducted through an educational collaboration between Indonesia and Malaysia to enhance students' digital communication skills from an early age. A total of 60 students participated in the program, consisting of 30 fifth-grade students and 30 sixth-grade students. The implementation employed a participatory educational approach involving conceptual material delivery, coaching-based mentoring, hands-on video production activities, and communicative reflection. The program outcomes indicate positive developments in students' understanding of digital literacy, basic videography skills, content creation creativity, and awareness of digital media ethics. The distinctive aspect of this program lies in integrating coaching-based mentoring, audiovisual content production, and cross-cultural educational collaboration within an elementary school context. This program contributes to the development of Communication Studies, particularly in educational communication, digital literacy, visual communication, and intercultural communication.
